People who have opened ChatGPT a few times and never got past asking it questions
Prerequisites: None. A laptop and a ChatGPT account. Module 101 (AI at Work 101) helps but is not required.

Learning objectives
By the end, participants can:
- Explain what ChatGPT is and why it is fluent before it is correct
- Tell the surfaces apart (ChatGPT on the web, the ChatGPT desktop app for macOS and Windows, the iOS and Android apps, and the ChatGPT Chrome extension or sidebar) and the three experiences inside them (Chat, Work and Codex)
- Pick a plan (Free, Go, Plus ($20/month), Pro ($100/month and $200/month)) and know what the work plans (Business (Standard or Premium seats), Enterprise, Edu) change
- Use the model picker deliberately rather than leaving it on the default
- Complete a first task on their own material and iterate on the result
- Name the three beginner traps: confidence, agreement, and long chats

You will learn what ChatGPT is, where it runs (web, desktop, mobile, browser), what the plans buy you, how the model picker works, and how to get a first useful result and improve it. End state is ChatGPT installed on your own machine, the data-training setting checked, and one real task from your own work completed and iterated on. After this module you can choose a plan, choose a surface, pick a thinking level on purpose, write a first prompt that works, and recognise the three traps that catch every beginner.
